News and Notes - Lawrence Phillips Might Be Considered a Sore Loser

Note to self: Do not play pick-up football game with Lawrence Phillips. Double note to self: If you must play football with Lawrence Phillips, let him win.

Dwayne Jarrett will play Saturday against Arizona St despite an injured left shoulder, which is good news for the Trojans as they will most likely be without their other stud receiver, Steve Smith who injured an ankle last week. Also Cal's Marshawn Lynch will attempt to go against Washington State despite a sprained ankle. Michigan receiver Mario Manningham underwent arthroscopic surgery Tuesday on his knee and will miss Saturday's game against Penn St.

Jerry Rice to David Ball, "What are you doing breaking my record?" (and he ain't talking bout ballroom dancing)

The Jags have signed CB Ahmad Carroll.

University of Connecticut head coach Randy Edsall is no Randy Quisenberry when it comes to drinking beer or actually just buying it for that matter. Randy Edsall Isn't Playing (The Mighty MJD)

this guy was a college All-American and NFL player yet somehow he convince some 14 year olds to let him play football with them and then how does he repay their kindness? By mowing him down with his car. Good to see some things never change.
