Cedric Injured in Practice

Cedric Benson injured his shoulder in practice Friday. The injury occurred when Benson was hit by Urlacher and Mike Brown after catching a pass. Although it is unknown how serious the injury is right now, Benson left the field on a cart with his arm in a sling. Coach Smith said he would now more Saturday morning after Benson could get some x-rays. This is bad news for the Bears as Thomas Jones is already out with a bad hammy. More here.
