Prince At XLI

It was announced today that Prince will be the halftime entertainment at this year's Super Bowl. Super Bowl XLI will be February 4th in Miami and will be broadcast on CBS. Prince is an interesting choice because ever since Janet Jackson showed her boobie at halftime of Panthers/Patriots, it seems the NFL and the broadcasters have feared what might happen during the Super Bowls halftime show. The last two years they tried to play it safe by having on really, really old dudes such as Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger. Prince has not been without controversy in the past. He wrote slave on his cheek and he even changed his name to a symbol (which I have no idea how to type on my computer). Prince has also been known for very sexual songs and performances in the past but he has toned it down in recent years. I guess he has toned it down enought that whoever selects the halftime entertainment felt Prince was a good call. So, are you happy with Prince performing at halftime? Who would you like to see perform at halftime of the Super Bowl instead or in the future?

Prince is not super gay! He is one of the most talented musicians out there! As for Bon Jovi, sure he rocked it hard in the past, but when's the last time he had a new single come out? My choice for super bowl would be something like they did years ago with different artists with different backgrounds collaboing. something like the beginning of MNF.

I personally think Prince is old and weak, but he is a little cooler than Mick Jagger and whoever else was super weak and old. I like the idea of a variety of artists from Rock & Hip Hop. Just upbeat good music that is exciting.
