With the Number One Pick........

Since we are on the topic of Chiefs for some reason, let me give all of you fantasy fans a quick tip. For those who think Larry Johnson's produciton will drop, think again. Now even though Willie Roaf will be retiring, then that still leaves the best guard/center/guard combo in the league. Brian Waters, who has earned Pro-Bowl honors in each of his last two seasons will be holding down the left side along with tackle Jordan Black. Black started 10 games last season for the Chiefs and Lar-John ran just fine. Center Casey Weigmann has started 104 games in his career and is one of the finer players in the league at his position. I have only two words for there other guard.
THE BEST . Will Shields has been the best guard in pro football for some time now and dont expect that to change. The only concern is at right tackle. Now we don't doubt Kyle Turley's talent, it's just the fact that he once threatened to kill his coach, and has back problems. Two strikes for ya buddy. So now that you know there line will still be in the top 3 lines in the league if not the best, you know that the possibility of Larry Johnson running for 2,000 yards is very real. And if you're joining our league....don't even think about drafting him. Consider him already taken. :)

I totally agree man. Anyone who doesn't think he will get 2,000 yards has no clue.

Saying that Larry Johnson is slipping is a complete fn lie, The Chiefs will easily win the division b/c of the broncos aging team, and SD unreliable QB, the Chiefs are a shoe i nfor the division win

I have to disagree. The Chiefs are hardly a lock. The Broncos if you recall lost the AFC championship to eventual NFL champs, Pitt and the Broncos have only gotten better. The Chargers were one of the best NFL teams down the stretch last year beating the Colts straight up. (say what you want the Colts tried to win that game) the Chargers do have a question mark at QB, but Rivers having had 2 years to learn should be ready. Everyone w/Chargers organization thinks so too or they wouldn't have shipped off Probowl caliber Brees.

AGING BRONCOS!!!! lets see:
Javon Walker-27
Tatum Bell-25
Snkae Plummer-31 / Trent Green-36
Jay Cutler-23
Al Wilson-29
Ian Gold-27
DJ Williams-24
Champ Bailey-28

seems to me that their nucleas of talent are just in their prime!

By the way, DEN only got better this off-season, KC got worse.
2005: DEN 13-3
KC 10-6

I think Jake "the snake" Plummer is 31. Not Snkae Plummer. Well he could be, but he is not a factor.

Pete and Situ r both wrong, it doesnt really matter the age of the QB, as long as he produces and trent green has been puting up stellar numbers the past few years, last year he put up 4,014 and 17 TD passes compared to Plummers 3,366 and 18 TDs, but since Larry Johnson's great rushing ability it can only open up the passing game for Green. Also with Plummers only good reciever coming back from knee surgery, and an aging Rod Smith, and a troublesome Ashlie Lelie, the broncos pass game will be down, and with out a great runner, they will be lookinf for offense in any possible way it comes to them. and Phil was right bout the Defensive minded Herm Edwards, it should help them win the division.

there is a reason that the Chiefs are always putting up big offensive numbers...they are playing catch-up most games! The D has been soft for a while, so I hope you are right about Herm. (he does play to win the game) As for the Munchos not having a great RB, did ya see the Boys get punked on Thanksgiving? If Ron Dayne gets to carry the starting load this year, look for him to return to Wisconsin for where he was kinda good...I think I remember something about him being the all-time NCAA D-1 leading rusher.
